Court Watch Process

  WHAT IS THE COURT WATCH PROGRAM?  
     
  The Fox Valley Court Watch Program monitors the judicial process in domestic
violence courts by observing courtroom proceedings. Court
Watchers/Observers are trained volunteers from the community who
monitor and therefore, strive to improve services and procedures for
victims of domestic violence.
 
     
  REQUIREMENTS  
     
  Volunteers are required to:

• Complete application
• Attend Court Watch training
• Monitor domestic violence hearings and/or trials per a
published schedule
• Complete specific forms designed for court monitoring,
observation and data collection
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Email address and daily email access
• Commit to minimum of one ½ day per month for at least
six months
